GSOC Communications Systems Operator (CSO) Liaison

About the role

EVS is seeking a Government Security Operations Center (GSOC) Communications Systems Operator (CSO) Liaison for an upcoming proposal effort. The position provides mission-essential operational support and subject matter expertise for Mission Communications Systems aboard C-32, C-40, and C-37 Executive Aircraft, supporting the GSOC at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. GSOC Operations Support is staffed continuously, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. This position is contingent upon the award of the contract.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Government Security Operations Center Communications Systems Operator liaison.
• Track and assist Executive Aircraft in flight with communications issues, respond to incident calls, and support trend-analysis efforts.
• Use Command and Control tools and chat software, such as Mattermost, to support Executive Aircraft while in flight.
• Provide GSOC leadership with expert guidance regarding operation of the Mission Communications System aboard C-32, C-40, and C-37 Executive Aircraft.
• Provide expert troubleshooting guidance to Communications Systems Operators aboard C-32, C-40, and C-37 Executive Aircraft during Mission Communications System anomalies or outages.
• Review GSOC flight-monitoring solutions that use web-based tools developed by commercial satellite communications providers and provide recommendations regarding their effectiveness.
• Perform work on-site at Joint Base Andrews in support of GSOC operations.

Requirements

• Expertise with the Mission Communications Systems of the C-32A, C-40B/C, and/or C-37A/B aircraft.
• TOP SECRET security clearance at the time of contract award.
• Work is performed on-site at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.

Pay

$187,000 to $206,500 annual based on experience.
