About Yendo

We're Yendo, and our vision is to empower everyday people to build a stronger financial future. In less than 2 years, we’ve saved customers over $100 million in unnecessary interest and fees. We are using AI to unlock the $1.1 Trillion in vehicle equity trapped within cars owned by Americans in the form of a high-limit, standard-rate credit card for those traditionally excluded from mainstream financial offerings. Yendo Credit Cards have similar APRs to those issued for prime borrowers with no hidden fees or overdraft charges and help build their customers' credit score. Yendo's credit limits are 4x higher than cards typically available for non-prime borrowers.

About the Role

Yendo is looking for a Growth Marketing Technology Lead to own the data and technology infrastructure that powers growth marketing's acquisition and lifecycle engine. This is not a traditional MarTech support role—it's a marketing data engineering role embedded inside Growth. You'll own the pipes, integrations, and tracking infrastructure that growth marketing runs on every day: the connectors, data flows, and platform integrations across paid acquisition and owned/lifecycle channels. You'll report into growth marketing leadership and work at the intersection of marketing, data engineering, and paid/lifecycle execution: close enough to the channels to understand what growth needs, yet technical enough to build and maintain it.

Beyond Growth, you'll work closely with Analytics, Engineering, and Product to stay ahead of upcoming changes on their end, and to understand how eventing and MarTech infrastructure needs to evolve to support them. This is a self-starter role. We're moving and developing rapidly, which means tracking and data infrastructure will break, drift, and need to evolve constantly. You'll be expected to fully own this area of expertise, proactively building fail-safes, monitoring, and alerting so dropped events and attribution gaps are proactively addressed.

Scope

Broad ownership across the full growth marketing technology stack, with paid acquisition (web and mobile) as the anchor channel. Full ownership of lifecycle infrastructure, including email triggers, retargeting, and deep linking, as well as website-related tracking and technical projects, including site tagging, on-page event architecture, and technical SEO considerations that intersect with tracking. Channel mix and priorities will evolve as we scale, and the infrastructure you build needs to flex with it.

Responsibilities

  • Own End-to-End Conversion Tracking (Web & Mobile)
    • Own conversion tracking for Yendo's core funnel across web and mobile
    • Ensure accurate tracking and attribution across Google Ads, Meta (including CAPI), AppsFlyer, GA4, and internal reporting
    • Diagnose and resolve tracking discrepancies, data loss, and integration issues across GTM, pixels, mobile SDKs, and in-app events (client-side and server-side)
  • Own Lifecycle & Website Technical Infrastructure
    • Own and maintain lifecycle infrastructure: email triggers, retargeting, and deep linking
    • Own website-related tracking and technical projects: site tagging, on-page event architecture, and technical SEO considerations that intersect with tracking and analytics
    • Partner with Product and Engineering on website changes that affect tracking, funnels, or event architecture
  • Own the Marketing Data & Integrations Layer
    • Own the full data pipeline Growth runs on: Segment, Snowflake, and the connectors between them, including the flow from web/app funnel through Segment/CDP, marketing automation, ad platforms, and into Snowflake
    • Manage and maintain integrations across the Growth stack: Segment, Snowflake, AppsFlyer, Iterable (or equivalent), and Google/Meta conversion APIs
    • Maintain standardized event taxonomy and naming conventions across the stack
    • Build proactive fail-safes and alerting to catch dropped events, broken integrations, and attribution gaps before they hit performance, not just audit after the fact
    • Own the roadmap for marketing's technical infrastructure, partnering with Engineering where builds require it
    • Ensure marketing data handling aligns with financial services compliance requirements (e.g., Reg Z, TCPA/CAN-SPAM, data privacy), flagging risk early and partnering with Compliance/Legal as needed
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting
    • Serve as the first line of technical support for Growth's tools and integrations
    • Investigate and resolve live tracking/attribution issues; target same-day triage on critical outages affecting active campaigns
    • Document root causes for recurring problems and drive fixes upstream, not just patches
    • Own measurement uptime and reliability so campaigns can be optimized without data gaps

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in marketing technology, data engineering, or analytics engineering, ideally supporting a paid acquisition/growth team directly. Hands-on experience matters far more here than formal education.
  • A demonstrated self-starter who has owned tracking/data infrastructure end-to-end and debugged data loss or attribution breakage, not just configured tools out of the box
  • Proven ownership of conversion tracking and attribution systems in a fast-moving marketing environment
  • Comfort working with financial services compliance requirements (or ability to ramp quickly) as an ongoing part of the role
  • Strong cross-functional communicator who can translate technical tradeoffs for non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field is a plus, but not required with the right experience

Skills

Must-have, Fluent On Day One

  • Segment
  • Snowflake
  • AppsFlyer
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Meta CAPI
  • GA4

Strongly Preferred

  • Google Ads / Google Marketing Platform
  • Iterable (or equivalent, e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
  • SQL and analytics workflows
  • Firebase
  • Ability to scope and build net-new tracking events end-to-end
  • Technical SEO (site architecture, crawlability, structured data, and how it intersects with tracking/analytics)

Nice To Have

  • JavaScript/TypeScript for tagging or front-end tracking
  • Experience in fintech or other regulated industries
