About the role
We're seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to attract and engage physicians interested in joining Mednet's community. This role focuses on the top of the funnel, identifying where physicians are, what motivates them to register, and how to convert them into active members.
Responsibilities
- Own top-of-funnel growth strategies, including how physicians discover Mednet, why they register, and how many of them become active members.
- Develop and optimize new acquisition channels such as paid advertising, organic search, referrals, partnerships, outbound marketing, and content marketing.
- Run high-velocity experimentation programs across various aspects of messaging, audiences, creative, and channels, analyzing results to inform future strategies.
- Create acquisition campaigns that resonate with physicians, including specialty-level targeting and positioning that aligns with how doctors think about their practices.
- Manage the email acquisition engine, segmenting and personalizing communications to keep a large list of physician contacts engaged and informed.
- Collaborate with lifecycle and product teams to ensure newly acquired physicians smoothly transition into onboarding processes.
- Analyze data to measure the effectiveness of acquisition efforts, reporting on cost, conversion rates, and the quality of physicians brought in.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in growth, acquisition, or performance marketing, preferably at an early-stage startup.
- A proven track record of discovering and scaling acquisition channels independently.
- A strong experimental mindset, capable of running numerous tests and distinguishing between meaningful results and statistical noise.
- Sharp creative and writing skills, able to craft compelling messages and steer the creative direction for acquisition campaigns.
- Experience managing email acquisition, including list segmentation, personalization, deliverability, and maintaining engagement levels.
- Proficiency in analytics and attribution, capable of building and interpreting funnel reports to guide decision-making.
- The ability to operate autonomously within a small, fast-paced team, setting priorities and achieving outcomes with minimal oversight.
- Experience marketing to credentialed or high-trust professional audiences, particularly physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Background in community, marketplace, or user-generated content (UGC) products, understanding the importance of relevance and credibility in professional marketing.
- Hands-on experience with paid channels such as Meta, Google, and LinkedIn, along with familiarity with conversion tracking tools.
- Comfortable using analytics tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude to analyze and report on campaign performance.
