About the Role
Build and manage special rate plans according to established revenue management guidelines for group bookings. Create and manage group masters for newly created rate codes, rate plans, and SRPs in the Revenue Management System. Set up billing methods, charge routing controls, and pre-authorize credit card guarantees prior to group arrivals. Monitor group cut-off dates and alert relevant teams if reservations are missing. Perform audits of blocked inventory and prepare group pickup reports.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage group masters for newly created rate codes, rate plans, and SRPs in the Revenue Management System.
- Set up billing methods and charge routing controls, and pre-authorize credit card guarantees prior to group arrivals.
- Monitor group cut-off dates and alert the Director of Revenue Management (DORM), Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM), and Sales Managers if group reservations are missing.
- Perform a 14-day window audit of blocked inventory in systems to ensure all unused blocked inventory has been released.
- Prepare the Group Pickup Report and lead the weekly Group Pickup Meeting.
- Assist DOSM and DORM in resolving group forecast discrepancies by balancing the Property Management System (PMS) and the sales system weekly.
- Alert DORM, DOSM, and Sales Managers if any recaps are missing for definite groups in Delphi.
- Assist DORM with setting and managing group MARs in the sales system.
- Make multiple-room reservations that do not qualify as groups, as well as other reservations routed by sales managers, catering, and front office departments within established guidelines.
- Process on-property transient reservations for VIP guests, BT accounts, preferred account clients, etc., as directed by the GM/AGM, DOSM, and DORM.
- Provide administrative support for the property Commercial Teams.

- Yield management skills to evaluate business trends and communicate recommendations for revenue maximization.
- Fully understand hotel product and operations processes.
