Responsibilities

• Monitors, guides, and works with the team to meet production targets.
• Ensures work is completed and tracked according to plant production goals.
• Instructs and trains new team members.
• Monitors parts and materials within the department and expedites supply as needed.
• Provides leadership in applying lean manufacturing and safety best practices.
• Applies IT solutions for tracking, monitoring, and documenting processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years of related experience.
• Thorough working knowledge of contemporary manufacturing and distribution processes.
• Able to read a tape measure, perform calculations, and write legibly.
• Reads and interprets specifications and assembly schematics.
• Basic ability to coach and influence others while reinforcing operational direction.
• Effective verbal communication and sound judgment.
• Working knowledge of IT solutions.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay

This is an hourly non-exempt role with a starting pay range of $30.50/hour, depending on geography, market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Eligible for overtime when working more than 40 hours in a week (or as required by state law).
