About the role
We are hiring for a Group Home Supervisor at RHA Health Services. This is a Regular position.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and coordinates activities of Direct Support employees and manages operations, staffing and budget of facilities assigned.
- Interviews and hires Direct Support Professionals.
- Prepares employee schedules ensuring that there is adequate staffing coverage at all times.
- Performs all personal care duties that Direct Support perform, such as personal hygiene tasks, meal preparation and goal implementation.
- Spend adequate amounts of time in the residential facility monitoring and providing feedback to staff on all three shifts in interactions and relationships with people supported, maintaining harmony between employees clients while serving as a positive role model.
- Seeks to understand the individuals in the context of their personal history, their social and family networks, and their hopes and dreams for the future.
- Resolves employee issues and conducts performance reviews.
- Ensures employees meet training requirements and attend required events.
- Makes sure employees stay within budget guidelines.
- Makes sure people supported have a clean and maintained home and yard.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
- Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed.
- CPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification, a plus.
- Must be qualified as a Habilitation Technician II (med certified) or eligible to be so designated at the first available training after accepting the position.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Ability to work with individuals with intellectual, developmental disabilities, and people facing mental health, and substance use challenges.
- Ability to resolve employee issues and conduct performance reviews.
- Ability to monitor and provide feedback to employees during all three shifts in interactions and relationships with the people supported.
- Ability to provide after-hours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotation.
- Ability to ensure people supported have a clean and maintained home and yard.

Pay
$22.00-$22.50 per hour
Schedule
Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed.
