About the role
Provide site-level leadership and manage day-to-day operations, including coordinating administrative and clinical staff and health center operations for multiple health centers located within the North Chicago area. Partner closely with an Associate Vice President (AVP) and/or multiple Director of Client Operations (DCOs) and Health Center Managers (HCM RN).
Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of single or multiple (2+) health centers and lines of service across contract(s).
- Manage staff processes typically composed of health center manager and multiple technical Team Leads, as well as indirectly manage all daily operational processes for Medical Directors and clinical providers.
- Assist in the creation of site-specific goals and measurements related to the needs of the client(s), including management of metrics to Performance Guarantees.
- Effectively communicate across various sites and to stakeholders to ensure consistency in messaging.
- For multiple contract oversight, effectively communicate with DCO to ensure site-level priorities are addressed and messaging is consistent across the book of business (BOB).
- Compile input and contribute to the performance appraisal process for all indirect reports.
- Follow appropriate processes for hiring, staff development, and performance management; provide input to AVP and DCO as needed.
- Interview, train, and successfully orient and onboard new hires as applicable.
- Manage daily operations, workflow, work schedules, and timecard monitoring to ensure efficient and effective health center performance.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, workflow efficiencies, determine root cause analysis, create action plans, and present resolutions and recommendations to the AVP and DCO.
- Make recommendations regarding staffing model based on objective scheduling and volume analysis; present to AVP and DCOs for approval.
- Understand and comply with all regulatory, procedural, and licensing requirements.
- Oversee the execution of the site-level quality program and support and oversee AAAHC standards across sites.
- Provide oversight on Member Engagement Site Action plans and outcome reporting.
- Develop action plans around patient utilization and penetration; monitor patient flow, scheduling, referrals, and patient satisfaction.
- Uphold corporate Values in alignment with the Art of Quality Service initiative.
- Complete reports as needed and provide assistance to Clinical Quality and Operations departments regarding investigations and the resolution of issues or complaints.
- Coach and provide feedback to staff on a regular basis.
- Manage internal budget, review expenses, purchase supplies, inventory equipment, medication, lab tests, etc.
- May serve as a client contact and provide reports and summaries of health center activities.
- Communicate and coordinate corporate messages and ensure implementation of policies and procedures.
- Assist in the identification and use of per diem staff to ensure appropriate staffing levels are met.
- Work collaboratively with health center managers and Medical Director at the site to manage internal medical staff site issues.
- Communicate regularly with staff, conduct meetings, and provide updates and share information regularly.
- Act as the health center’s infection control lead and collaborate with the corporate Director of Quality and Infection Control Officer.
- May provide patient care if qualified and where circumstance applies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Current license as an RN in practicing state.
- Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S) may be required for some sites.
- Current hands-on certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the medical field.
- 2–3 years’ management experience.
- Prior management experience managing a large group is a must.
- Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC, or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices.

Pay
$110,600.00 – $136,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
