About the role

This role involves facilitating group sessions for individuals recovering from addiction, focusing on certified addictions specialists who work on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate therapeutic groups for clients recovering from addiction
• Provide individual counseling sessions as needed
• Collaborate with other professionals in the recovery community
• Conduct regular progress evaluations and adjust treatment plans accordingly

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Certification as an Addictions Counselor
• At least 2 years of experience working with individuals in recovery
• Experience leading group therapy sessions

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
