Addiction Treatment Specialist - Part Time Weekend Evenings

Job Summary

Part-time weekend (Saturday and Sunday) evening shifts from 3:30pm - 12pm. Requires: High School Diploma or GED. Previous recovery experience and/or training preferred.

Job Duties

• Maintains support to patients and facilitates various recovery-oriented activities.
• Facilitates or assists with adjunct groups/meetings and performs all associated duties, including documentation.
• Supports patients during evenings and weekends, and helps de-escalate emotional reactions.
• Collects appropriate data on bio-psycho-socials.
• Completes initial family contacts and documents information on family services.
• Facilitates sign-ups for Family Day Program and monitors family visitations.
• Provides new patients with general orientation to the facility, including introductions and rules.
• Maintains monitoring of patients during free time, bedtime preparations, and conducts bed and room checks.
• Communicates significant events through logs, patient charts, and verbal updates to key staff.

Requirements

Requires High School Diploma or GED. Previous recovery experience and/or training preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year-related work experience (Preferred)
