We are hiring a part-time Groundskeeper to keep our Duluth property clean and welcoming year-round. The role covers daily litter and debris pick-up, hands-on help with seasonal landscaping, and snow removal.

Responsibilities

• Daily grounds pick-up: Walk the property each shift to collect litter and debris from lawns, parking lots, sidewalks and common areas.
• Empty exterior trash cans and keep dumpster enclosures tidy.
• Report damage, safety hazards, vandalism or lighting outages to the supervisor.
• Landscaping assistance: Help mow, trim, edge and blow off walkways.
• Weed, mulch and water flower beds, planters and new plantings.
• Assist with spring cleanup, fall leaf removal and seasonal planting.
• Prune shrubs and small branches under direction.
• Snow and ice removal: Shovel and clear sidewalks, entrances, stairs and ramps after snowfall.
• Apply salt or ice melt to walkways and high-traffic areas.
• Keep fire hydrants, exits and accessible routes clear.
• Clean, maintain and safely store tools and equipment.
• Perform other light maintenance tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Education generally equivalent to a high school diploma.
• Reliable and able to work independently with little supervision.
• Prior groundskeeping, landscaping or snow removal experience (preferred).
• Experience with mowers, trimmers, blowers and snow blowers (preferred).
