Maintenance Groundskeeper

Key Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, trim, & fertilize lawns & landscaped areas
• Plant, prune, & care for trees, shrubs, flowers, & plants
• Maintain walkways, parking areas, fences, & outdoor structures
• Remove debris, leaves, snow, & ice as required by season
• Snow removal & plowing
• Prepare athletic fields & outdoor areas for school events, sports, & ceremonies
• Operate & maintain groundskeeping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, snow removal equipment, etc.)
• Perform basic maintenance & minor repairs on tools, equipment, & facilities
• Identify & report safety hazards, damaged equipment, or maintenance concerns
• Absorb & assist with setup & cleanup for outdoor events when needed

Qualifications

• Legal authority to work in the US
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous groundskeeping, Landscaping, Or Maintenance Experience Preferred
• Basic Knowledge Of landscaping techniques & equipment operation
• Ability to safely handle tools, chemicals, & machinery
• Valid driver's license may be required
• Ability to work independently & follow instructions
• Ability to pass required background checks for employment in a boarding school environment
• CPR/AED/Standard First Aid certified or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire
