Maintenance / Groundskeeper

Lifesteps, a non‑profit human services organization serving Western Pennsylvania for over 100 years, is hiring a Full‑Time Entry Level Maintenance / Groundskeeper Attendant in the Penn Hills and Monroeville areas. The agency provides programs and services to help individuals and families with special needs live to their fullest potential.

Position Summary

Responsible for providing building maintenance, custodial, and grounds‑keeping services to ensure buildings and grounds are clean and in working condition.

Schedule

Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm with weekends off.

Minimum Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and prior experience with preventive building and equipment maintenance, basic plumbing, electricity principles, basic welding, refrigeration and air‑conditioning systems, and/or boiler systems repair
• Ability to read and write
• Valid driver’s license that legally permits operating a motor vehicle in Pennsylvania

Preferred Qualifications

• Building Maintenance Certification
