Groundskeeper, Multifamily
About the role
The Groundskeeper plays a key role in maintaining the exterior image and landscape of Stratford Ridge apartment communities. They are responsible for providing world-class customer service and addressing the maintenance needs of residents.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the upkeep of driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, and exterior hallways.
- Maintain property flowerbeds, plants, and grass areas.
- Perform snow removal and routine pool cleaning or maintenance.
- Address the concerns and maintenance needs of residents in a friendly and professional manner.
- Occasionally assist the Maintenance staff on other projects as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school required.
- Willingness to work evenings or weekends (on call) in case of an emergency.
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish.
- Professional and courteous demeanor.
- Effective listening and teamwork skills.
- On-time performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and equipment handling.
Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and frequently.
- Regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions.
Skills
- Customer service skills.
- Physical stamina for climbing stairs and remaining stationary for extended periods.
- Ability to operate office machinery.

Pay
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule
Regular evening and weekend availability may be required.
