About the Role

As a Waterton Groundskeeper, you are an integral part of the mission "to provide a great place to live" for residents. You will help maintain the physical condition of the community and equipment according to company guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the community by sweeping parking lots and walkways, removing debris, emptying trash, and pressure washing.
• Help with snow, ice, and large debris removal, if applicable.
• Uphold grounds by mowing lawns and trimming edges; removing weeds; watering lawns, shrubs, flowers, and trees; repairing and adjusting water sprinklers; pruning shrubs; planting flower beds.
• Complete resident service requests and preventive maintenance, as directed by your manager.
• Assist in the preparation of unit make-readies when needed.
• Maintain and operate various types of equipment to perform job functions (e.g., leaf blowers, pressure washers, hand tools, ladders, and safety equipment).
• Utilize reasonable safety measures and precautions to maintain a safe work environment.
