Groundskeeper

Job Duties

• Maintain the landscaping and outdoor areas of multiple company properties, including mowing, trimming, planting and irrigation.
• Provide preventative maintenance and repairs to pools, hot tubs, fountains and other water features.
• Keep flower beds well maintained, including planting flowers, irrigation and removal of weeds.
• Ensure that all outdoor areas are clean and free of debris, and that all walkways, driveways and parking areas are safe and well maintained.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, chainsaws and other power tools.
• Identify and report landscaping and grounds maintenance issues.
• Remove loose trash and waste from the grounds at all company properties.
• Assist with snow removal and ice control during winter months.
• Assist with moving furniture or other items at or between properties.
• Assist with minor construction tasks as needed.
• Trim trees as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report maintenance issues.
• Experience with landscaping, irrigation or pool maintenance desired.
