Grounds Worker

Position Summary

Essential Job Functions

• Operate mowing equipment and do daily adjustments and maintenance.
• Push and tractor mowers.
• Operate power hand tools.
• Operate tractors, brush hog mowers, plows, discs, planters, chain saws.
• Perform routine daily tasks including mowing, weed eating, planting and apply fertilizers or chemicals.
• Regular and reliable attendance at the worksite and adhere to assigned schedule.

Non-Essential Job Functions

• Snow removal, as needed.
• Work on call for after-hours duties (weekends and holidays) as required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma
• Experience: 18 years of age; 6 months of landscape machinery equipment and farm machinery experience.
• Computer Skills: Not specified.
• Certificates & Licenses: Missouri Chauffeurs license or willing to obtain once employed; Bucket truck certification or willing to obtain once employed.
