Grounds Associate, Full-Time, Day Shift

Responsibilities
- Mows, edges and aerates the lawns and keeps grass well manicured.
- Weeds the garden and prunes trees and shrubs.
- Trims plants and maintains high aesthetic appeal of the outdoor spaces.
- Aids in snow removal and sanding operations of sidewalks and parking lots.
- Maintains and clears debris from sidewalks, roofs, entrances and parking lots.
- Maintains the pleasing aesthetic aspects of ponds and fountains.
- Maintains and cleans outdoor seating areas and furniture.
- Sprays and fertilizes according to proper application of herbicides.
- Maintains irrigating/programming controllers, replacing heads, valves and underground pipe.
- Makes daily inspection of grounds.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education and Work Experience: High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred Experience in the repair and maintenance of the grounds keeping equipment, water fountains, and sprinkler systems: Preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: Qualified Applicator (chemical) License (PAPA) or Pest Control Applicators (PCA) License: Preferred Certificate in horticulture or landscape field: Preferred Valid Driver's License (DL) and must be at least 21 years of age or older: Required
