Grounds Worker - Full-Time Day Shift

About the role

Warm Hearth Village is seeking a dedicated Grounds Worker to join a team responsible for the upkeep of the grounds Village-wide. This position supports a person-centered approach to aging in an inclusive environment that redefines retirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds upkeep and maintenance across the Village
• Operate mowers, weed eaters, trimmers, chainsaws, pressure washers, and all grounds-related hand tools
• Execute planting, trimming, mulching, weeding, and snow removal tasks

Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to walk at least 2 hours per day
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Valid Driver's License
• Background check required
• Some overtime required contingent on winter weather

Preferences

• One year of experience in groundskeeping, especially in an apartment, townhome, or retirement community

Schedule

Full-time position with an expected schedule of 7:00am – 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
