Maintenance Worker - Grounds (Full-Time, Days)

Position Summary: The Maintenance Worker-Grounds works under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor. This position is responsible for the upkeep of the Hospital grounds. The special nature of the position may require working any shift, all days of the week and holidays.

Responsibilities

Perform general grounds maintenance to keep the hospital campus clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. Work may include operating pressure washers, leaf blowers, and using ladders. The role requires flexibility to work any shift, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Requirements

• One year of experience in general grounds maintenance (minimum)
• Desired: Experience in general grounds maintenance
• Current California Driver’s License
• Eligible to be insured under the Medical Center’s Liability Policy with DMV Report
• Minimum age 21

Skills

• Familiarity with pressure washers and leaf blowers
• Ability to work safely off a ladder
• Self‑motivated and capable of working with limited supervision
• Behavior reflective of Enloe Medical Center core values
• Ability to fulfill the essential functions of the position

Pay

Compensation range: $21.28 – $28.73 per hour. Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience.

Days off: Fixed (Saturdays & Sundays)
Hours per pay period: 80
