GROUND BEEF PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR 1ST SHIFT

About the role

Manage and supervise hourly employees.

Responsible for the motivation and safety of those employees.

Prepare pre-operational paperwork.

Ensure area is properly staffed/crewed to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop employees to obtain results.
• Meet volume goals, reduce claims, maximize yields, reduce costs and improve employee retention.

Requirements

• Two years supervisory experience preferred in a food manufacturing/meat processing setting.
• Ability to work a Monday through Friday including weekends when needed.
• Ability to work a second shift.
• Ability to work in a cold, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills.
