About the role

Architectural Fiberglass, Inc. (AFI) is seeking Grinders/Sanders Employees to join our dynamic team. This is a unique position requiring some experience using electric or air power tools. AFI provides comprehensive training for all aspects of the job.

Responsibilities

• Cut or sand fiberglass flanges or run-offs that are not part of the finished part
• Sand or grind fiberglass thickness to ensure units fit properly
• Participate in a quality inspection and repair unit(s) with specified colored gelcoat or bondo
• Carry units to and from the grinding/sanding area as needed
• Clean the area after use and perform general housekeeping tasks
• Perform any other duties requested by the Supervisor

Requirements

• Organized and self-motivated
• Ability to communicate professionally
• Some experience using electric or air power tools
