Join a Top leading company in the Aerospace industry! The Centerless Grinder is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring centerless grinding equipment to produce high-quality precision components. This role requires strong attention to detail, blueprint reading skills, and experience using precision measuring equipment to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate centerless grinding machines in both manual and automatic production environments.
• Select and install grinding wheels, support blades, and machine tooling as required.
• Perform wheel dressing, machine adjustments, and process optimization to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Monitor production quality and make necessary machine adjustments.
• Follow SPC procedures and maintain accurate production records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with quality, production, and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating and setting up centerless grinding equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges.
• Knowledge of SPC and quality control processes.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

$35 - $45 per hour
