Grinder Production (Machinist Intern) - 3rd Shift DSC
Bell Textron Inc. is seeking a skilled Grinder Operator for our Fort Worth, Texas location. This is a full-time, third-shift position as an individual contributor within our manufacturing team. The role is temporary, with a maximum duration of two (2) years.
Description
Sets up and operates internal, centerless, surface, external, thread, and universal grinders for production, experimental, and tool work. Performs complex grinding tasks on all grinder types, including steps, tapers, recesses, shoulders, angles, contours, and threads. Capable of setting up truing devices for various thread forms. Selects appropriate speeds, feeds, and wheels, and holds work to required tolerances. Setups are exacting, often requiring firm and accurately positioned fixtures, rests, or blocks.

- Precision measuring instruments
Requirements
- Two (2) years of production grinding experience or equivalent technical education
- Ability to work with export-restricted information under ITAR/EAR regulations (U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required)
- Subject to a government security investigation for access to classified information
