Responsibilities

  • Maintains a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, patients, co-workers, and clients.
  • Acknowledges and greets guests with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Answers the telephone promptly and politely, using a salutation of the day.
  • Demonstrates a willingness and ability to assist others.
  • Makes emergency responses on a priority basis.
  • Assists visitors with directions, information, and other inquiries.
  • Provides guests with information about facilities and local attractions.
  • Ensures patient and business confidentiality is maintained at all times.
  • Delivers messages, items, and amenities as requested.
  • Reports all accidents and incidents observed on shift to the Guest Service Coordinator or Account Manager immediately.
  • Uses only equipment trained to use and operates all equipment in a safe manner.
  • Is knowledgeable of hospital disaster codes and response plans.
  • Follows client standard operating procedures for disaster codes and response plans.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of equipment including telephones, codes, alarms, two-way radios, disaster phones, fire panels, and surveillance systems.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write standard English.
  • Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Write simple correspondence.
  • Understand 24-hour and military time systems.
  • Perform general typing and basic computer skills.
  • Prioritize tasks and remain calm in stressful situations.

Pay

The hourly base pay is $18 per hour.

Schedule

The work schedule for this position is 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday with alternating weekends.
