Graphic Designer - Journeyman

About the role

Leidos has a new and exciting opportunity for a Journeyman Graphic Designer in our Intel Sector Analysis Solutions Business Area (ASBA). Our talented team is at the forefront in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management.

Responsibilities

• Develop graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
• Utilizes request management tools to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requests
• Coincides with a UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management, to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience
• Create graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
• Create design concepts and implement designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online
• Ensure products comply with all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances
• Conduct technical quality checks
• Manage an approved concept and build in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles
• Provide Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• A TS/SCI with polygraph level security clearance is required.
• Experience with the following:
• Leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
• Front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS
• Photography and video editing
• Mentoring and trains junior staff
• Create graphics products that provide engaging and user-friendly experience
• Create graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
• Develop design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online
• Ensure products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances
• Conduct technical quality checks

Pay

Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00
