About the role

The role involves leading a team of data analysts to enhance business intelligence through advanced analytics and machine learning techniques. Key responsibilities include developing predictive models, managing data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain predictive analytics models using statistical methods and machine learning algorithms.
  • Design and implement data pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and storage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Continuously improve model accuracy and efficiency through iterative testing and validation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and machine learning.
  • Experience with Python, R, or similar programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to manage and optimize large-scale data sets.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Python and R.
  • Experience with data engineering tools and technologies.
  • Understanding of data privacy and security best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
