The Job

The Graphic Designer is responsible for designing newsletters, articles, posters, and brochures, filming and editing, and supporting guest experience with a welcoming smile and service.

The Day-to-day Plan

• Create complex campaigns and high-profile jobs from concept to completion
• Work with Creative Management to ensure designs meet corporate and client expectations, are within property budgets, and deadlines are met
• Assist Creative Management with the flow of daily workload and resolution of design, timeline, or production issues
• Provide creative supervision to Designers and Artists, anticipating and solving creative problems
• Assure that property’s design needs are met and property brand standards are maintained
• Communicate project status, timelines, and delivery information to clients and internal teams
• Interface with internal departments, clients, and vendors to resolve issues
• Train and educate employees on design techniques and print capabilities
• Generate high-quality comps for presentation or review

The Ideal Candidate

• 2+ years in design in an agency, in-house, freelance, or prior relevant experience
• Proficient in Photoshop
• An understanding of composition, layout, color theory, and typography
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
