Graphic Designer

Description

We are currently looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Graphics department in Allegan, MI. It is expected this individual be able to live within a commutable distance to our Allegan, MI office.

Scope of the Role

• Generate packaging art for a variety of over-the-counter medications and self-care products.
• Design artwork based on a variety of inputs: customer direction, engineering dies, marketing direction, and regulatory affairs labeling specifications.
• Check artwork for compliance with all labeling requirements and specifications, assuring no deviations.
• High level of accuracy required.
• Follow controlled workflow processes including electronic documentation for each project.

Experience Required

• Typically these skills are acquired with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphics/Fine Arts or related field along with 2+ years professional experience.
• Must have excellent command of Adobe Creative software including proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong technical proficiency necessary.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to navigate complex systems.
• Knowledge of multiple print processes preferred.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to successfully manage multiple projects in electronic workflows to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work within established processes and use standard work instructions.
• Able to conceptualize/brainstorm new ideas.
