About the role
The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is seeking a Graphic Designer to create visually stunning and accurate creative assets for various museum projects.
Responsibilities
- Create graphic standards and implement design concepts for multiple advertising campaigns, print collateral, and signage projects.
- Review all work orders and special requests promptly, ensuring full understanding of each project and asking for clarification when needed.
- Collaborate with exhibit graphic designers, exhibits/marketing writers, fabricators, contractors, vendors, project managers, and others as required.
- Produce high-quality results on time, within budget, with correct specifications, and with minimal guidance under tight deadlines.
- Provide clear and accurate specifications to vendors to ensure their files are provided on time and accurately reflect project requirements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting all deadlines and project management requirements, including design, implementation, review, preparation, and production.
- Collaborate with digital and exhibition staff to integrate promotional campaigns with the on-site visitor experience and programming.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of graphic design and production experience.
- Some ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
