Primary Purpose

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of user-centered design processes for digital platforms and mobile-first web development
  • Ability to emphasize conceptual thinking, accessibility, current industry tools, and professional workflows

Special Requirements

  • Any Bachelor’s degree or higher AND two years of professional experience directly related to the faculty’s teaching assignment
  • Any Associate degree AND six years of professional experience directly related to the faculty member’s teaching assignment
  • Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area
  • The equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District

Minimum Qualifications

Desirable Qualifications

  • Prior College-level Teaching Experience Is Preferred
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with faculty, staff, and community partners to design and implement initiatives that support historically underrepresented, marginalized, nontraditional, multilingual, and learning-disabled students in achieving their educational goals
