About the role
We’re looking for a volunteer Grant Writer who can help us clearly communicate our impact and secure funding to expand our FREE programs.
We are not starting from scratch—we have strong program ideas, clear budgets, and real community impact. We need someone who can help translate that into compelling grant proposals.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit grant proposals based on existing program ideas
- Collaborate with our team to gather needed information
- Tailor messaging to align with funder priorities
- Help refine and strengthen our overall grant narrative
- Auxiliary reporting or follow-up if desired
Requirements
- Experience writing successful grant proposals (nonprofit or academic)
- Initiative and ability to work independently
- Comfortable storytelling and making ideas compelling on paper
- Small, 100% volunteer-led organization experience
- Clear and reliable communication skills
