All Seniors Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to improving the quality of life for older adults across Los Angeles County. We provide medical care, in-home support, hospice and palliative care, cancer navigation, and 200+ other free services to qualifying seniors. Every service is delivered at no cost, regardless of insurance status.
Role Overview
As Grant Writer, you will research, draft, and submit grant proposals that fund our free programs serving Los Angeles seniors. You will work closely with program leadership to translate impact stories into compelling foundation, government, and corporate funding proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Research foundation, government, and corporate grant opportunities aligned with senior care, healthcare access, and aging-in-place programs
- Draft and submit 3–6 high-quality grant proposals per month with full budgets, logic models, and program narratives
- Maintain a grants calendar tracking deadlines, reporting requirements, and renewal cycles for active funders
- Collaborate with program directors to gather impact data, beneficiary stories, and outcome metrics for proposals
- Write final reports for funded grants including financial reconciliation and program outcomes
- Build relationships with foundation program officers through professional outreach and stewardship communications
Qualifications
- Strong writing portfolio demonstrating successful grant awards (private foundation, government, or corporate)
- Familiarity with healthcare nonprofit funding landscape; senior services experience a plus
- Excellent research, project-management, and deadline discipline
- Comfort with logic models, budgets, and outcome measurement frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in English, communications, public health, or related field
