Grant Writer

Lifesteps, a non-profit agency based in Butler, PA, is seeking a part-time Grant Writer to join the team.

About the role

Responsible for researching, planning, writing, submitting, and tracking compelling grant proposals to secure funding in support of the Organization’s programs and services.

Responsibilities

• Research grant opportunities
• Plan, write, and submit compelling grant proposals
• Track submitted proposals and funding outcomes

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or a related field
• Two years of grant writing experience preferred
• Proven written and research abilities, including clear, precise, and compelling writing
• Familiarity with grant funding sources
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively in multi-agency environments
• Commitment to positively impacting the community and individuals the Organization serves
• Current driver’s license and ability to travel for business using a personal vehicle

Schedule

24–28 hours per week, onsite during weekdays (Monday through Friday).
