Position Summary Information
The purpose of this position is to assist the distance/remote learning program specifically for students enrolled in the ESL program. Will assist with supporting distance learning, digital navigation, digital literacy and career navigation.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services or related field. One (1) year in higher education or alternative training programs as a career counselor, job training coach, and/or case manager.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Experienced with student recruitment, academic advising or workforce placement. Ability to manage a small case load of students pursuing career pathway. Ability to create courses, manage distance learning programs.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in related field.

Job Duties
- Support distance learning program and coordinator in recruiting and managing student enrollment. Collect and review weekly and end of the month program reports.
- Support and assist with distance learning program orientation, enrollment and outreach efforts with flexible work schedule including evenings.
- Manage small case load of students enrolled in Career Pathways programs to include advising, and tracking student success and challenges.
- Maintain, monitor and prepare student records in accordance with TWC requirements.
