Grant Creek Veterinary Services is seeking a Managing Veterinarian (Medical Director) to lead our growing team in beautiful Missoula, Montana. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about mentorship, team development, and practicing high-quality medicine.

This role offers the best of both worlds: the opportunity to influence the future of the hospital while remaining actively involved in patient care. You'll work alongside experienced veterinarians and dedicated support staff who genuinely enjoy collaborating and delivering outstanding care to the pets and families of Missoula. Our recently expanded facility provides the tools and resources needed to practice advanced medicine and surgery, including two dedicated surgical suites designed to support efficiency, case variety, and excellent patient outcomes. Veterinarians with interests in surgery, dentistry, or exotic animal medicine will find opportunities to further develop and utilize their skills.

Requirements

  • Experienced Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or equivalent)
  • Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in Montana
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to high-quality veterinary medicine and surgery

Responsibilities

  • Leading and mentoring a talented veterinary team
  • Supporting medical excellence and high standards of patient care
  • Enhancing the client experience and strengthening client relationships
  • Collaborating with hospital leadership and a network of veterinary professionals
  • Helping develop doctors and support staff through coaching and mentorship
