About the role
We are partnering with a respected and growing regional grain company that is looking to add a Grain Originator to its team in North Central Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting with producers, developing new business, and helping farmers maximize the value of their grain marketing decisions.
Responsibilities
- Build and grow relationships with local grain producers.
- Possess a competitive, sales-driven mindset and self-motivation.
- Prospect new business through cold calling and in-person farm visits.
- Purchase grain directly from producers.
- Provide grain market updates and marketing recommendations.
- Cook up and coordinate grain logistics and transportation.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while growing your territory.
Requirements
- Degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, or a related field preferred.
- 1+ years of grain merchandising, grain origination, or grain industry experience.
- Comfortable making cold calls and developing new customer relationships.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Passion for agriculture and serving the farming community.

Pay

Schedule
This is an on-site position in North Central Ohio. Candidates must be willing to relocate if they are not currently in the area.
