Responsibilities

  • Move grain to ensure quality and maintain proper inventory.
  • Learn proper aeration techniques to maintain grain quality while also monitoring quality and condition of grain.
  • Accurately segregate inbound commodities and effectively blend outbound grain.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of equipment for proper maintenance procedures and identify problem areas.
  • Stay on top of grain market action and support company marketing efforts.
  • Assist with employee schedules and issue inbound/outbound accounting documents.

Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, high noise levels, and around dust.
  • Good customer service, problem-solving, and work ethic.
  • Team-player eager to help other departments of the company.
  • Willingness to get the job done during peak season by working extended hours as needed.
  • Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Grain Grading Certificate.
  • Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to work at heights of over 150 feet and lift 50+ lbs.
  • Solid mechanical abilities, electrical and ag background helpful but not needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Grain Grading Certificate.
  • Valid driver's license.
