About the role

woodallgrain is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Grain Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grain handling, storage, and quality control, with experience in risk management and market analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations including receiving, storing, and shipping grain products.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Monitor market trends and provide strategic advice on purchasing and sales decisions.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers to maintain relationships and improve service.
• Develop and implement training programs for new employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in grain handling and quality control.
• Proven track record in managing inventory and logistics.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in market analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of grain handling and storage practices.
• Experience with grain grading and quality assurance.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
