Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse I - V, Department Director, Patient Care Manager, Shift Administrator, and Vice President of Patient Care, the Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible and accountable for the quality care of assigned patients using the nursing process as defined in the Missouri Nurse Practice Act. The LPN will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Demonstrates understanding of unique physical and psychological needs and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status to provide quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality patient care utilizing the nursing process.
  • Assess and interpret patient data to meet age-specific needs.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved practical or vocational nursing program (required).
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Missouri or eligible for licensure while having a Missouri work permit (required).
  • BLS Certification (required).
  • IV Certified (required).
  • Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred, but not required.

Pay

Up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus (eligibility requirements apply).

Schedule

  • Part Time (48 hours per 2-week pay period), with benefits.
  • Night Shift: 7pm to 7am.
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
