Graduate Nurse - Emergency Department

About the Role

The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Department, performing assessments, diagnoses, care planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs using critical nursing skills.
• Develop and modify individualized care plans collaboratively with healthcare team members.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; licensure required within 90 days of graduation.
• Educational background includes a nursing diploma, associate’s, or bachelor’s degree.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
