Graduate Interns

About the role

Students United is seeking two graduate students for new internship positions: Graduate Engagement & Operations Intern and Graduate Policy & Advocacy Intern.

Responsibilities

• Graduate Engagement & Operations Intern: support development, event, communications, and engagement work; provide coordination and administrative support for grants, alumni and donor data, sponsorships, fundraising campaigns, events, and approved communications projects.
• Graduate Policy & Advocacy Intern: support programmatic and policy changing efforts; legislative bill tracking, MinnState System policy work, comparative state and national policy analysis, issue‑based lobbying; serve as student experience expert and additional student voice in policy making spaces at state, federal, and MinnState System levels.

Requirements

Ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a collaborative small‑nonprofit environment.

Pay

$20‑25 per hour.

Schedule

16 hours per week; hybrid schedule with expectation of at least one day per week of in‑person work (in‑office or in‑person collaboration).
