About the role

The Men’s Lacrosse Graduate Assistant will report to the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach and assist with all aspects of the program.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment of quality student-athletes
• Scheduling, managing, and coaching games
• Planning and conducting practices
• Organizing team travel
• Monitoring student-athletes’ academic progress
• Equipment maintenance
• Fundraising and other administrative duties assigned by the Head Coach
• Ensuring compliance with NCAA, Old Dominion Athletic Conference, and institutional rules and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Valid driver’s license and insurable by the college’s auto insurance carrier
• Preference given to applicants with college coaching experience and/or experience as a college lacrosse student-athlete
