Graduate Assistant - Men's Lacrosse Coach

About the role

The Franklin Pierce Men’s Lacrosse program is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Graduate Assistant Coach. The Graduate Assistant position is a two-year position and includes tuition remission program. Acceptance of the position is contingent upon successful admission into the University’s Graduate School.

Responsibilities

• On and Off campus recruiting of qualified student athletes
• Aid with Fundraising activities
• Aid with community service opportunities
• Aid with practice planning and implementation
• Maintain monitoring of academic standing and study halls
• Aid with team travel and game day operations, as well as scheduling, organizing, and general office work
• Manage Team Social Media/Video program
• Adhere to all NCAA rules and regulations

Qualifications

• Successful admission in an FPU Graduate Program
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Previous coaching experience and/or successful NCAA playing experience preferred
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to attract, recruit, and retain high-level student athletes
