The Graduate Intern will work in a professional environment in the Mayor's and Council's office, focusing on community engagement, communications, newsletters, social media, and related projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Mayor's office through research and data analysis
• Prepare reports and attend events
• Create graphics and content for social media
• Post and edit content across all social media platforms
• Perform paraprofessional-level tasks specific to the department's needs
• Work semi-independently, applying skills and education to various assignments
• Contribute to significant department projects or project teams

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a Graduate degree program (e.g., Master's, Doctorate, or Juris Doctorate) or completion of a Bachelor's degree
• Degree program must be in a field related to the department's mission
• Previous work experience is not required
