About the role
Halff is seeking New Graduates who will graduate in December 2026 or May 2027 for a Mechanical Engineer supporting our MEP team.
Responsibilities
- Basic design and layout of HVAC air and hydronic systems
- Build strong working relationships with both clients and internal contacts with other Halff offices
- Collaborate effectively with other engineers, architects, and project stakeholders including owners
- Perform routine calculations and equipment layout under supervision of senior staff
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture/Engineering
- Working knowledge of IMC and ASHRAE 90.1
- Three or more years of HVAC and energy modeling experience
- Experience in Trane Trace 700 or Carrier HAP
- Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD production experience
- Ability to obtain the Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus
Qualifications
- At least three years of experience with HVAC air and hydronic concepts
- Capable of performing routine calculations and equipment layout
