Requires an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution and acceptance into a graduate studies program at Franklin Pierce University (acceptance must be confirmed before the candidate is considered). The position is a two-year role beginning 6/1/2026, with flexibility, and includes tuition remission along with an annual stipend of $8,000. Housing is not included but is available on-campus. Acceptance is contingent upon successful admission into the University’s Graduate School; the first graduate term begins 08/31/2026.
Responsibilities
- On and off-campus recruiting of qualified student athletes
- Assist with fundraising activities
- Assist with practice planning and implementation
- Primary on-ice focus with team’s defensemen and goaltenders, but will work with all positions
- Monitoring of academics and study halls
- Assist with team travel and game day operations, as well as scheduling, organizing, and general office work
- Team social media/video program
- Adherence to all NCAA rules and regulations
- Administrative duties as assigned by the head coach
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Previous coaching experience and/or successful NCAA or Junior playing experience required
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to attract, recruit, and retain high-level players
