Gradall Operator

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• A Class A CDL is strongly desired.
• Experience operating equipment, and the ability to operate a Gradall.
• Able to read and understand grade stakes, automated machine control cab displays, etc.
• Dependent on assignment, able to properly utilize equipment to accomplish tasks involving grade, slope, yield, etc. as needed.
• Dependent on assignment, able to safely maneuver machinery in tight quarters, around people, traffic and utilities.
• Clean, maintain and secure all equipment.
• Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
• Able to assist with repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
• Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments.
• When not operating equipment, be willing to labor as needed.

Skills

• Ability to operate a Gradall Excavator and other construction equipment.
• Knowledge of grade stakes, automated machine control cab displays, etc.
• Proficiency in maneuvering machinery in various conditions.
• Ability to perform tasks involving grade, slope, yield, etc.
• Ability to work in a union environment, or willingness to join a union.
