Government SLED Sales Representative

We’re looking for talented B2B/Government Sales Professionals to focus on new business development by selling local and long-distance telephone services and data telecommunication products to the Public Sector (State, Local and Education). Responsibilities

• New business development nationally for State, Local, and Education Districts (SLED).
• Travel within an assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with potential and existing SLED customers.
• Sell advanced data solution-based services such as MPLS, VPN, VOIP, SIP Trunking, Cloud-based PBX, Wireless Networks, and dedicated internet access.
• Build and maintain a consistent sales funnel and pipeline.
• Identify prospect needs and create customized sales proposals.
• Maintain positive relationships with all new and existing clients.

Requirements

• 3+ years of SLED experience.
• Strong prospecting, selling, and closing skills; proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently meet sales quotas.
• Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through closing.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Military Service required.
• Public Sector/Government (State, Local, and Education) experience highly preferred.
• Must have the ability to be cleared for Secret Clearance P2, or currently hold Secret Clearance.
