Key Responsibilities
- Process mandated and supplemental quarterly rebate invoices using established validation controls and perform financial reconciliations to deliver accurate and timely state settlement packages.
- Support rebate cycle activities including intake, scanning, and processing of incoming invoices to ensure timely workflow execution.
- Strong ability to analyze claims, payment trends, and claims level data to reconcile.
- Manage contract setup and maintenance, including amendments, pricing updates, and product lifecycle changes.
- Ensure all activities align with CMS regulations, Medicaid Drug Rebate Program (MDRP) guidelines, contractual terms, and internal policies.
- Serve as a key point of contact for state rebate departments and external partners.
- Conduct detailed claim-level data analysis to validate invoice submissions and reconcile discrepancies.
- Partner directly with state Medicaid agencies and third-party processors to investigate and resolve disputed historical claims.
- Maintain clear, concise communication and strong relationships to support efficient issue resolution.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with record retention policies to support SOX (Level 1 & 2), OIG, and external audit requirements.
- Execute processes that reinforce audit readiness and mitigate financial and compliance risk through peer reviews and established ways of working.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Apply system and process knowledge to test new system enhancements or operational improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Audit, Business Systems, Analytics, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a financial analyst role
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Preferred Experience with pharmaceutical or government rebate contract management
- Advanced Excel skills with complex data analysis experience
Work Arrangement
This role is hybrid (2:3) working. You will be expected to work from the GSK Durham office part of the week and have flexibility to work remotely for the remainder. Specific on-site expectations will be discussed during the interview.
