Position: Google Cloud Platform Cloud Champion (Pre-Sales + Architecture) - Financial Services Location: New York, NY (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary Client is seeking a Google Cloud Platform Cloud Champion to support Financial Services clients within its Google Cloud practice. This role combines solution architecture, client engagement, and delivery leadership. The position requires strong communication skills, hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience, and the ability to work directly with clients across pre-sales and implementation phases. Key Responsibilities Participate in pre-sales activities, including client discussions and solution developmentDesign and lead implementation of Google Cloud Platform-based solutions (migration, modernization, cloud architecture)Act as a client-facing architect supporting Financial Services engagementsCollaborate with delivery teams to execute cloud projects end-to-endProvide technical guidance to cross-functional and global teamsSupport development of Google Cloud Platform capabilities and reusable solutions Required Qualifications Strong communication and client-facing skillsHands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)Experience in cloud architecture, migration, or modernization initiativesExposure to pre-sales, solutioning, or stakeholder engagementExperience working with Financial Services clients (banking, insurance, capital markets, or trading)Ability to work with distributed/global teams Preferred Qualifications Experience in consulting or IT services environmentsFamiliarity with Kubernetes (GKE), Terraform, and DevOps practicesExperience with microservices and cloud-native architecturesGoogle Cloud Platform certification (nice to have, not required) Additional Information Hybrid role based in the NYC metro areaPosition operates across both pre-sales and delivery phasesFocus on hands-on architecture with client interaction Best Regards, Chetna Truth Lies in Heart
